1. Your data that we process
When you visit our website, we collect the following information:
The date and time when you visit our website, your IP address, the name and version of your web browser, the web page (URL) you visited before accessing our website, certain cookies (see Section 2) and the information you provide yourself when you fill in the contact form.
There is no obligation to disclose the data we request from you on our website. However, if you do not provide this information, you will not be able to use all the functions of the website.
Most cookies on this website are session cookies. They are automatically deleted when you leave the website. Permanent cookies remain on your computer until you manually delete them in your browser. We use permanent cookies so that we recognise you again when you access our website next time.
If you want to keep a check on the cookies on your computer, you can alter your browser settings so that you receive a notification when a website wants to save cookies. You can also block or delete cookies already saved on your computer. You can find out more about how to do this under your browser’s “Help” function.
Please note that blocking or deleting cookies can impair your online experience and prevent you from fully using all the website’s functions.
3. Purpose of data processing
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
- To provide this website to you as well as to improve and further develop it
- To compile usage statistics
- To detect, prevent and investigate attacks on our website
- To answer your queries
4. Legal basis for processing
The legal basis for processing your personal data is our predominantly legitimate interest in achieving the purposes stated above in Subsections 3a-d.
5. Transfer of your personal data
For the above purposes, we transfer your personal data to the following recipients:
- IT service providers engaged by us, i.e. Swisscrow GmbH in CH-5600 Ammerswil;
- Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA according to the provisions in Section 8 (Google Analytics)
Some of the above recipients are located outside Switzerland or process personal data outside Switzerland. The data protection level outside of Switzerland may not be of the same quality. Where this is the case, we take measures to ensure the recipients observe an appropriate data protection level. We do this by concluding contracts that comply with Art 6 DSG (Data Protection Act).
6. Your rights
You also have the option of consulting the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
7. Data retention (duration of storage)
We store the data stated in Subsections 3a-d for a period of three months. Longer storage only takes place where necessary to investigate any attacks detected on our website.
We save the data we process based on your consent until we receive your retraction of consent, or for as long as required by statutory obligations.
8. Google Analytics
The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address and the URLs of the web pages accessed) is transferred to Google servers in the USA and saved there. We do not store your data collected in connection with Google Analytics.
This website uses IP anonymisation, a feature offered by Google Analytics. This means Google truncates/anonymises your IP address as soon as it receives your IP address. On our behalf, Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website so it can compile reports on website activities and provide us with further services relating to website and internet use. Google does not link the IP address obtained from your browser by Google Analytics with other data.
You can prevent cookies from being saved by altering the settings in your browser software. However, please note that in this case you may not be able to fully use all the functions of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting your data obtained through Google Analytics by downloading and installing the browser plugin available here: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data from this website by clicking on the following link. This activates an opt-out cookie that prevents the recording of your data when you use this website in the future.
9. Google Maps
Embedded in our website via an API are maps from the Google service Google Maps to make it easier for you to find us. Google must receive your IP address in order to be able to display this content in your browser. Otherwise, Google cannot provide this embedded content.
The legal basis of this data processing is our predominantly legitimate interest in showing you our location in a low-cost way so you can find us more easily.
